Friendship Night, Not about making friends, but to continue..

..to speak about what is going on in schools. GEEZ did you think I really came here to talk about work. I am away. I had an interesting drink, they didn't have anything to make me a pina colada. In result, the bartender made me something fruity ...Vodka, Triple Sec, cranberry and orange juice. It was good, made me hot, but I had to leave. It surely wasn't what it was cracked up to be. No talent show or Karaoke to watch : ( Maybe the drink will help me sleep tonight. Sure can't wait to get home.

So today...Hmmm...Well I am tired of repetition. Yeah we all have these same issues. We all have very similar stories, but why do we have to hear the same stories over and over and over and over and over and....OK you get it I am sure. If we could just get the three for its and a rebuttal if necessary just get over it already. With the budget and economy just not doing good, including, not having support from the Legislature, including the horrendous number of RIF's in the districts around the state, not only with certificated teacher, but also the support staff, we look to be pretty screwed for many years. So, we really just need to remember that our first priority is to educate the children, and prepare them for this kind of reality that just might arise when they are adults.
