So, one of my co-teachers talked me into this WEA-RA assembly back in March or April. At first, I was truly not sure about it. Now I think I have become even more unsure about it. I am 300 miles from my home (I hate being away from home). I miss my dog, my honey, and my kid (that is not even mine). Funny thing about the kid. Ricky calls and said she wanted to say goodnight. Well, she REALLY thought I was coming home tonight. RIcky had to explain to her, that we thought that we explained to her that I was going to be gone until Sunday. He said she was freakin. Ah well. I miss her too!
Anyway, the politics of this whole conference/assembly is crazy. Hi, my name is _____________. I am from the _____________. I have a motion to ____________. Blah Blah Blah. I wish my computer battery lasted for more that 2 hours.
So, this will be the pattern for the next two days. Boy am I excited. I am trying to think this is a good thing and the positives. I am on a mini-all expense paid vacation away from work. YAY, no bratty 12 year olds until Monday.
Well I am glad for my deck of cards, crazy Shannon, a wonderful S.I.P that I will read decipher and maybe kill, and water. Here's to Friday.....I have some 'friendship night' to look forward to. Ill let you know how that goes tomorrow!
